Jenny and her husband Chris are the proud parents of three young adult sons and two teenage daughters, and have called the Champaign-Urbana community home for over 20 years.Through her work with local homeschool co-ops and private classes, Jenny has developed hands-on curricula across a wide range of subjects, with a passion for project-based learning that sparks curiosity and builds critical thinking. She thrives in vibrant, diverse classrooms and believes the journey of self-discovery in middle school is one of life's greatest adventures.
Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, Todd, twin sons, and three adorable cats. She has taught preschool, elementary, and adult English as a Second Language students for over 20 years. Jennifer has worked at non-profit organizations, public schools, with private students, and at the university level at an Intensive English Institute. She has worked extensively with students with special needs and as an ELA and reading interventionist. Jennifer enjoys assisting students with literacy acquisition and with other subjects as needed. Her goal is to help students strengthen their literacy skills, as well as other subjects, and offer support and guidance to help them continue on their paths.
